. ᓲᐦᑳᑎᓯᐃᐧᐣ . sôhkâtisiwin . Strenght-Power . is the name of this third portrait painted by @kevinledo . It is fascinating to see different murals, painted 2014 ( yesterdays post), 2017 (Leonard Cohen, posted on March 7th) and (this one from) 2018 from the same artist…what changes, what stays the same. All three portraits are very personal, with great facial expressions, however the painting style is quite different in each of them. Todays portrait depicts traditional Cree dancer Angela Gladue, created after a photograph from Calgary photographer Candice Ward. . . . . . . #kevinledo #cree #firstnations #candicewardphotography #angelagladue #streetart #streetphotography #graffiti #calgary #alberta #travelalberta #yycbump #beltlineurbanmuralproject #magnificentmuralmarch
